Peter began the full-time study of orthodontics in 1986 and after qualifying as a specialist in 1989, immediately set up the Warwick Road practice. Since then, the pursuit of excellence in orthodontics has been his passion. Peter has always been involved in teaching orthodontics, including a total of seven years as a part-time clinical lecturer at The Eastman and then The Royal London Hospitals.
Early in his career, Peter developed a special interest in adult orthodontics and leads a two-day biennial course on this topic. He has been invited to lecture on numerous occasions by the British and Irish Orthodontic Societies as well as by the universities of Bristol, Birmingham and
Manchester.
Peter is one of just three UK mentors appointed by 3M to teach the use of the Incognito lingual appliance. He was the winner of the British Orthodontic Society’s ‘Against the Odds’ award in 2007, came third in 2006 and was runner-up in 2009.
