I am a long-standing member of the team. I have been a dental nurse for over 26 years, over 10 of them here and before that I was an Orthodontic Excellence patient! My superpower is being a mum and I often masquerade as a pirate’s mate with my little boy. I am a green crusader helping the practice reduce its carbon footprint, however you won’t find me mowing the lawn as my luxury and vice is my plastic grass.
Treatment Care Co-ordinator
Level 3 Diploma in Treatment Coordination
I joined OE in 2007 and how time has flown! I am a Treatment Co-ordinator and welcome new patients to the practise for free assessments. I listen, to understand what you are looking to change, take clinical photographs which we look at together and then show the selection of braces for achieving the results you desire. I play a key role in a patient’s transformation from start to end! A lot of people arrive at Orthodontic Excellence as patients and leave as friends, it’s great to be part of their journey. I’m also very handy at DIY and will step up and turn my hand to any new challenge!

I love this practice; I must do I’ve been working here for 16 years! My first job out of school was in Orthodontics and I have varied my role during that time. To be an Orthodontic Therapist has always been my dream and dreams do happen when you are driven and determined. I started my family when I joined the practice and now that my family has grown up, I can pursue this new challenge.
I am the teams finance and spreadsheet guru. I began as a bookkeeper in 2004 and now my role has developed to involve all things “NUMBERS” just like Rachel Riley and Carol Vorderman. I oversee all financial matters including the management accounts. I am proud to work with such a great team.

I am qualified as a Dental Nurse and Oral Health Educator. I moved to London to gain some more experience within my profession to study a diploma in Health and Human Science. At the end of my time in London I discovered a keen interest in orthodontics. I thoroughly enjoy this specialist area of dentistry and I am eager to develop further by planning to study Orthodontic Therapy. I am also Mum to a lively little boy and have been told that I am an awesome dancer, look out Len!
New Patient Care Co-ordinator and Receptionist
I joined Orthodontic Excellence in March 2013 and really enjoy working alongside Peter and Virginia, it really is a great team here. I trained to become a Patient Care Co-ordinator, which I thoroughly enjoy as I love hearing people’s stories and seeing how excited they become about the prospect of having perfect teeth. It’s a pleasure to be part of their wonderful journey as their lives are transformed.
Patient Care Co-ordinator and Receptionist
As soon as I stepped into the practice I knew it was a place I wanted to work. I have great organisational skills and love a challenge, particularly in developing and improving procedures and protocols. I have had orthodontic treatment here and so can understand how it feels to be a patient, so if you have any questions please ask. We have a number of Jo's - I am the Jo with a flamingo mug, glass or hairband!
I came to Orthodontic Excellence after a successful career working as a registered nurse specialising in the care of patients with a range of disabilities. My experience in this field over more than 10 years, my more recently acquired knowledge of administration and sense of fun make me perfectly suited for this role. I have enjoyed learning all about the orthodontic Industry and working alongside an enthusiastic, patient- led team to provide award winning expertise.
I joined OE 15 years ago. I am responsible for external communications and would impress in a spelling bee! enjoy quizzes and looks forward to the OE one each year which I may take a little to seriously. Seeing the smiling faces of patients who are happy with the results of their treatment is still a thrill after all this time.

I moved here from a general dental practice to experience Orthodontic Dental nursing. I hadn’t imagined it could be so different! Apart from all the instruments being unfamiliar to me, what struck me was how our patients love coming and feel part of the family. I love to travel and if I wasn’t a Dental Nurse, I would be Dora the Explorer.
Receptionist and Patient Care Co-ordinator
Originally a dental nurse, I have enjoyed a career in customer services working for many years at Rolls Royce before coming back into a dental industry. Outside of work I indulge my creative flair as a florist. I enjoy being part of such a dedicated team and being able to combine the skills I have gained in my previous roles.

I have been in the dental industry for 20 years as a dental nurse, practice manager and now as a patient care co-ordinator. I am a real perfectionist and pay close attention to detail which fits well with my keen interest in craft. At the weekends I enjoy swimming, creative craft and including card making and baking.
Dental Monitoring Relationship Manager
I am the Dental Monitoring ninja! I have been part of the team since 2011 and took on this new role when Dental Monitoring was launched in the UK and we became founder users of Dental Monitoring. My other passions are baking and running (to offset the calories from eating my yummy cakes!)
I bring to the practice, experience from outside the industry. I spent many years in telecommunications but when looking for a change, sought a role in a SME and as a past patient of OE, I jumped at the opportunity when this came up. I have big aspirations for the practice and our vision is to be the practice of choice for patients and employees through excellence in customer service, clinical care and innovation.
