Invisalign FAQs
Treatment time varies depending on the complexity of your case — we'll give you a precise timeline at your free consultation. Simple cases can move relatively quickly, while more complex movements take longer.
For best results, you should wear your aligners for 22 hours per day. You only remove them for eating, drinking anything other than water and brushing your teeth.
You may feel some pressure or mild discomfort when you switch to a new set of aligners, but this usually subsides within a day or two. Most patients find Invisalign much more comfortable than traditional braces.
Yes, Invisalign can treat a wide range of bite issues including overbite, underbite, crossbite and open bite. Our specialist orthodontists can assess your specific case at your free consultation.

Yes, absolutely. As specialist orthodontists with over 16 years of Invisalign experience, treating hundreds of cases every year, we can often achieve excellent results for patients who've been told elsewhere they aren't suitable. Our experience means we know how to plan complex movements that less experienced providers may not attempt. Book a free consultation and let our specialists assess your case - you might be surprised what's possible.
The success of Invisalign treatment doesn't come down to the plastic aligners themselves - it's the skill of the clinician designing your treatment plan that determines your results. Aligners are simply a tool; the expertise lies in understanding tooth movement, bite mechanics and treatment planning. Before starting treatment anywhere, ask about their experience: Are they a specialist in tooth movement, like an orthodontist? How many aligner cases have they completed? Choosing an experienced provider, ideally a specialist orthodontist with significant aligner experience, gives you the best chance of achieving the smile you want.
